Outpatient Services
For patients who do not require hospitalization but who need continued rehabilitative care to completely heal and be fully active, MRC provides several outpatient programs and services. Typically this service is offered for patients with orthopedic problems, cardiac and stroke-related conditions, speech disorders and other ongoing debilitating conditions.
When appropriate, utilizing outpatient services allow patients to save money and heal at home where they are more comfortable.
Physicians or rehab professionals may refer patients for one or more of the following services:
- Occupational therapy

- Speech/language pathology
- Psychology services
- Vocational rehab
- Neuropsychological assessment
- Recreation therapy
- Augmentative communication evaluations
- Dysphasia evaluations and treatment for problems swallowing
- Orthopedic evaluations

- Laboratory
- Radiology
- Congestive Heart Failure
MRC provides a wide range of outpatient services with expertise in treating:
- Post surgical care for joint replacements, fractures and repairs
- Mild brain injury rehab
- Spinal rehab, neck pain, headaches
- Osteoporosis
- Spasticity management
- Falls prevention
- Soft tissue dysfunction, tendonitis/bursitis
- Acute and chronic joint pain
- Sprains and strains, cumulative trauma disorders
- Attention deficit adn cognitive disorders
- Disability management
- Swallowing disorders
- Developmental delays
- Speech and language disorders
Outpatient programs
Patients may qualify and benefit from admission into one or more of the following outpatient programs as part of their recovery. These programs all have different admissions criteria and may be a recommended part of the treatment plans.
These programs operate independently and also are accessible by consumers who have not been inpatients at MRC.
Assistive Technology Assessment Center
Assessments and recommendations are made for individuals with communication disorders, motor or physical disabilities or work-related injuries.
Cardiopulmonary Rehab
Serves patients requiring cardiac and pulmonary rehab with three-phase program. Rehab for congestive heart failure is also available.
Vocational Rehab
Offers a variety of services designed to assist individuals with employment-related concerns.
Sleep Lab
MRC offers a professional sleep lab with minimal wait for an appointment.
