MU Health Care is pleased to provide referring providers real-time, online access to patients' medical records. You may view information for patients referred to University Hospital and Clinics, MU Women's and Children's Hospital, Missouri Orthopaedic Institute and Ellis Fischel Cancer Center.

Explorer 6.0 through 8.0, and Firefox 1.5 through 3.0 are supported.  You may access this application with an unsupported browser version; however, some functionality may not be available.  Please contact your Help Desk for assistance.

Features of online access include:

View medical records for your referred patients
Review patient information, such as progress notes, test results, medication orders and discharge summaries. Results for the six most recent visits are available up to 90 days after your patient's stay in a MU Health Care hospital or visit to one of our clinics. Access may be granted to your office staff as well, and records may be printed and kept in your patients' charts.

View information anytime, anywhere
No need to wait for a fax or letter to learn the status of your patient. Your patient's information is available online through Intranet or Internet access at your convenience 24/7.

Improved care coordination
Quality is a top priority for MU Health Care. Referring Providers Online will facilitate high-quality service and patient-care standards by enhancing communication with you and improving overall care coordination for your patients.

Patient privacy upheld
MU Health Care is strongly committed to ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and policies governing access to patient information. Only authorized users are allowed access to patient information through Referring Providers Online. A user ID and password are required to protect electronic patient information.

Group practice coverage
If a member of your medical practice is taking call, you may give permission to a colleague to view your patient's information.

Referring Physicians Online support is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at (573) 882-4312 or click the red support button to the left to send an email. For security purposes, please do not include any patient-identifying information in email correspondence. Fax and traditional mail are the preferred choices.
