For Referring Provider's Support Staff
*Your sponsoring provider MUST be assigned access prior to support staff receiving access.
Complete all required information on the MU Health Care "Referring Roviders' Online Access - Support Staff Form." The access form requires you to enter the clinic NPI or your primary provdiers's NPI. Your physician must have access to Referring Providers online prior to you receiving access.
MU Health Care is strongly committed to ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and policies governing access to patient information and must uniquely identify each provider, and their support staff, who access their patients' electronic medical records. The National Provider Identifier (NPI) number has been established as the unique identifier and is required to obtain access to Referring Providerss Online. Review and acceptance of the "Access and Confidentiality Agreement for Referring Provider Support Staff" is required before access can be granted to your patients' electronic medical records.
For security purposes, please do not include any patient-identifying information in your email correspondence. Fax and traditional mail are the preferred choices at this time.
