Adolescent Unit at Children's Hospital

Children's Hospital staff recognize that during adolescence, young people undergo many rapid physiological, psychological, cognitive and social changes that affect their growth and health. Staff meet these special needs by offering a comprehensive range of services customized for these patients. The 16-bed adolescent unit is designed to meet the unique needs of teen-age patients. The unit features an activity room, snack bar, pool and game table, VCR and other amenities to create a home-away-from-home atmosphere.
